Situated in the heart of Norfolk, The Old Stables is the perfect setting from which to explore the surrounding countryside. The farm operates a stewardship scheme which provides margins around its fields for nature walks and welcomes metal detectors during the months of October to March.

You can visit many areas of interest in this beautiful county. The market towns of Fakenham, Holt, Dereham and King’s Lynn are well worth a visit and Norwich, with its beautiful Cathedral, Castle Museum, historic streets and two extensive shopping complexes, offers everything for a great day out.

The delightful coastal towns of Hunstanton, Wells, Sheringham and Cromer are close by and the Norfolk Broads are within easy reach. There are many local attractions including Gressanhall Rural Life museum, the splendid Thursford Steam Collection, the North Elmham Saxon Cathedral ruins and the Queen’s estate at Sandringham. There are National Trust Houses, bird sanctuaries, interesting historical buildings and churches and many good pubs and restaurants.
